Painters Tony Aristy and Elvis Avilés showcase their work at the RISD Museum. Both artists are from the Dominican Republic and studied fine arts in their home country before coming to Rhode Island to work.

This is a fresco located at the Juanita Sánchez Educational Complex, named in memory of a community activist, health care outreach worker during the 1970s and 1980s, and Chair of the Hispanic Social Services Association.
